Both retailesr and manufacturers polled in Cannondale Associate's 2004 PoweRanking® Survey highlighted innovation and execution as the areas that trading partners are using to distinguish themselves from others.

Wal-Mart topped the overall score among retailers for the sixth year in a row and was again rated the best retailer with which to do business. Procter & Gamble led the overall manufacturers rating, as scored by retailers.
