What does excellence look like in a foodservice company?
That
was one of the questions addressed in the recently released Second
Annual FoodservicElite® Study conducted by Cannondale Associates, Inc.,
a sales and marketing management consulting firm with offices in
Wilton, Ct., and Evanston, Ill., and Cognitio, LLC, a foodservice
research firm in Carmel, Ind., specializing in foodservice product
potential measurement.
The study identifies operators and
manufacturers that perform best in the eyes of their trading partners,
and the practices that drive that performance. The operators and
manufacturers rank each other across ten measures in which they
interact. The findings reflect responses of more than 470 manufacturers
and operators. The manufacturers include an array of food, beverage and
equipment areas, while the operators represent a broad mix of
commercial and non commercials segments.
